FAQs

How do you get such good pricing?

With over 15 years of experience in the auto leasing industry and long-standing relationships with dealers, we’re able to secure exclusive pricing that isn’t available to the general public. Most customers lease or buy one vehicle every few years, we handle hundreds annually, which gives us access to wholesale-level pricing that we pass directly on to you.

How does financing work?

We work directly with manufacturer finance divisions (like Toyota Financial, Honda Financial, etc.) as well as top-rated leasing institutions to find you the best possible rates. Whether you're financing or leasing, we’ll present transparent options tailored to your needs.

Where do I return the car at the end of the lease?

You can return the vehicle to any authorized dealership of that make anywhere in the U.S., or we can arrange a pickup or drop-off directly through our team, depending on your location.

What is a “Demo” or “Loaner” car?

A demo or loaner vehicle is a car that has been used by the dealership for test drives, service loaners, or short-term staff use. These vehicles typically have a few thousand miles on them but are still in excellent condition and covered under the full manufacturer warranty.

Because demo cars aren’t brand new, they often come with significant discounts, making them a smart way to get a higher-end model or upgraded trim at a more affordable price.

  • Please note: Demo and loaner vehicles are not always available and inventory changes frequently. If you're interested in this type of deal, let us know early in the process so we can explore options.

Are the pictures on your site of the actual cars?

Most of the photos on our site are stock images representing the model and trim. If you'd like to see the exact vehicle you're getting, we’re happy to send actual photos once your vehicle is located or assigned.

Do all of your cars have a manufacturers warranty and where can I service my car?

Yes. All vehicles leased or purchased through Altera come with the full factory bumper-to-bumper warranty, along with any additional manufacturer perks such as roadside assistance, maintenance plans, or loyalty programs. You can have your car serviced at any authorized dealership nationwide.

How long does the process take?

Once you choose a make, model, and trim, most deals are finalized within 24–48 hours. Many vehicles are in-stock and can be delivered within just a few days. If the exact vehicle you want isn’t available locally, we can swap it in from another dealer or place a factory order to your exact specifications, which may take longer depending on availability.

How do I get my car?

Once your paperwork is complete, we’ll arrange delivery straight to your door, no dealership visits required. You'll work exclusively with us throughout the entire process for a stress-free experience.

Can I buy the car at the end of the lease?

Yes. All of our leases are closed-end, which means you have a set purchase option at the end of your lease term. You can return the car or buy it outright for the agreed-upon residual value.

What does “$0 down” mean?

"$0 down" means there's no cap cost reduction required — you're not putting thousands of dollars upfront to lower the monthly payment. However, there are still standard fees due at signing, including:

  • First month's payment

  • Bank acquisition fee

  • Local taxes

  • DMV fees

If you prefer, we can roll most or all of these costs into your monthly payment to minimize your out-of-pocket expense at signing.

What is a one-pay or pre-pay lease?

A One-Pay Lease (also known as a Pre-Pay Lease) allows you to pay for the entire lease upfront, often resulting in a lower total cost. These offers are typically provided by manufacturers during special promotions and may come with significant discounts.
